Well, I made it back home safe and sound. Didn't even spend much money, considering. I didn't have any car trouble. No wrecks or muggings. Only once did I nearly get run over, and once I came close to a collision (not my fault, of course). I did get lost frequently, but that's par for the course.

Next fall, 2003, I plan a trip from northern Maine to Key West, Florida, photographing fall colors, more Presidential Places, more Mormon Temples, more State Capitols, more National Parks and Monuments, visiting more relatives, going more places I've never been before, and some places I have been before.
