Boise Idaho Temple

Boise Idaho Temple
On my way east I stopped in Boise to visit a friend I had known for 55 years. While there I drove by the Boise Idaho Temple to verify to myself that it really is as dark a color as I remembered it being. It is.

I'm going to use the "M" word: Mormon. There. I said it. I don't know what other word to use to denote the followers of Joseph Smith, some of whom do not like that word. So, I hope no one is offended, but Mormon it is throughout this Web site.

If you want, you can visit my LDS Temple Website; if you do, be sure to come back here.

Why would someone who is not a member of the LDS church be interested in LDS Temples? Well, for one thing, Mormonism is a part of American history, and I'm interested in American history. Two, the temples are challenging to photograph well. Three, not very many other non-Mormons are interested in photographing them, so the field isn't crowded.
