Great River Road

The Great River Road

The Great River Road runs from the mouth of the Mississippi to the Canadian Border, more or less, and then back south on the other side of the river. What a concept!

I took this photo of the newly rebuilt Nauvoo Temple from a spot along the Great River Road, between Burlington and Keokuk, on the Iowa side of the Mississippi, looking east across into Illinois.
