Don's PhotoJaunt 2003 Unitarian Church of All Souls

I visited Church of All Souls because I have been a Unitarian all my adult life, and this is the largest Unitarian congregation. Also I knew a woman who was raised in this church, attending it all her life until well into adulthood.
The minister, Forrest Church, is the son of that rarest of rarities, an Idaho Democrat, Senator Frank Church, who was instrumental in helping to bring the Vietnam war to an end, as well as many other liberal causes.
A good exterior photo proved to be impossible, because of the height of the building, the short distance I had to take it from, and the traffic. Oh, well.
The interior is beautiful.
The pulpit and reredo.
The reredo is woven, a lovely work of art with much symbolism.
Comments.
