Don's PhotoJaunt 2003The Met

We wanted to do some cultural stuff while in the big city, so we went to the Met, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was a beautiful autumn day, as you can see by all the people sitting on the steps in the sun.

These old music manuscripts were impressive. They certainly did their scores up nice in those days.

Klee! Paul Klee has been my favorite artist since I was in college. And here there was a whole exhibit. I had never seen an original Klee before, so I was really glad we came in here. This one is "May Picture."

I don't know the title or artist of this painting, but the piercing eyes caught my attention.

And this painting of a cow judging a painting of some cows was interesting.

We were climbing the walls because we didn't have time to see everything we would have liked to have seen.
